Jim Best
Jim Best spent 35 years learning and sharing the secrets of leadership and success, scaling and steadying the corporate ladder at C.H Robinson Worldwide. Along the way, his path crossed with his now business partner, Jim Round.
Recognized for his competency, professionalism, and positive ambition for growth, he held multiple leadership roles during his time, finally retiring as the Senior Vice President. He credits his success to listening to, and learning from "The Greats": Brian Tracy, Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, and others, who harnessed the power of being a dynamic force in leadership and the achievements that follow.

When his corporate career came to a close, he looked for different ways to shape his knowledge and experience of good leadership, into a message to help others do the same. His daily blog UpwardsBest, stays focused on personal development by "a-page-a-day", and evolved to "Upwards to Your Life Well-Lived"™. Still, he was looking for ways to do more.

His path crossed with Jim Round again in 2023, as they both found purpose and enthusiasm for leadership training, mentorship, and helping companies and individuals reach their highest potential.
Jim Round
Jim Round’s career began with C.H. Robinson Worldwide in 1993. He began in sales, and his lead-by-example and ability to support the growth and development of others led him to the management career path. Jim worked with and learned from several high-performing leaders. Seeing their example, studying other success stories, and listening to his people, Jim developed and fine-tuned his best practices for successful, team-centric management.
During his 25 years he achieved continually higher levels of accountability and responsibility, yet wanted more opportunity to share his knowledge. His true passion, he found, was teaching and mentoring individuals as well as teams to accomplish their personal and professional goals.
Jim made his dream a reality in 2018, launching Rounded Development. While mentoring individuals on leadership, and consulting with organizations, his excellence in leadership development, cohesive team-building, and results-based collaboration built his reputation.
Reconnecting and aligning with Jim Best, they provide the finest in personal development, career advancement, managerial excellence strategic consulting, and a suite of other valuable services and workshops.
